Cat Makes Low Growl Noises

My female cat keeps making low growl noises, and when I go near her, she hisses. I'm beginning to think she might be pregnant, as this behavior usually happens after she goes outside.

her behavior doesn't really indicate being pregnant. Growling is normally a sign of being anxious or even feeling unwell. If it were me and this behavior was unusual to her i would want to have her looked at by a vet to make sure there are no underlying health issues.
