cat mating with blanket

hi i have e 9 month old cat and since 3 weeks ago he start mating with my blancket and my socks and everything related to me he also falow me to bathroom each time i go there i guess its not normal why is it like that? what should i do?

is he neutered? If not then theres your answer. If he is neutered then it may be a hormone imbalance still. Sometimes after the operation it takes a little while for the hormone levels to drop and stop this behavior.

However even neutered cats will from time to time display this sort of behavior, its sort of instinct that comes to them now and again and there is little you can do about it i'm afraid.
