cat missing fur - possible infection?

my dog has been sniffing my cat's butt constantly. I finally looked to see what he was so interested in. She is missing fur around her anus and looks like a small red dot and there's some puss spots also. She acts perfectly normal. Have you heard of anything like this?

well it sounds to me like she may have a parasite problem. This is a common area for these things to occur and fur loss and blood spots are common.

You will need to take her to the vet to have a proper diagnosis of what exactly is causing this so that the correct treatment can be prescribed.
