Cat not eating

We decided too keep a kitten which showed up in our yard several weeks ago, we guessed him about 3 to 4 mos. old at the time, just guessing he is about 6mos. or so now. We him too get his 1st round of shots, and about 3 weeks ago had him nuetured, as he was starting to spray, he does spend alot of time out doors, but comes in at night.I think he is too thin, but have heard young males are. Question- The last 2 days he is not eating, so i wanted some possible causes???

In fact almost any cat illness if the cat feels unwell enough would put them off there food.

When a cat stops eating it is always a time for the owner to be concerned. Give him a couple of days to see if he starts to eat again, as a virus could just put him off his food for a day or so, but after that or if he gets worse in any way, take him straight to the vets.

He may have eaten something outside which has made him feel sick, my own cat sometimes does this. Also if he is an outside cat make sure you have wormed him and keep up the treatment. If he is eating things he finds , then he will pick up worms and this can make him thin and ill.
