cat owner

My kitty is a 18 months. I have never had a problem with her. We had a second cat up until recent, and we have a new borne baby in the house now 5 weeks. while I was blaming the other ca, I saw myself, Miss Kitty squat and pee. Her litter box is cleaned. She is an indoor cat too. The second cat Ran out the door one night last week and we haven't found her.. any suggestions?,. Thanks for your help

i'm not sure what your question is. If it is why your cat peed on the floor and why your cat ran away, it could simply be that since the arrival of the baby the cats feel that things have changed and they may feel a little uncertain and unerved by all the changes. Hopefully one they get used to all these changes they will calm down and return to normal.
