well it depends. If it is a constant strange breathing pattern then he may have an allergy, A cold or even have a heart problem. In any case if it is a constant problem then they need to see a vet as soon as possible.

what does it mean when your cat jumps up and moves away from you for no reason?

Difficult to say, he may be suddenly startled by something which has made him jump. Sometimes if you are wearing strong perfume then this can sometimes make them become weary.


what does it mean when your cat only lays on its stomach?

I don't think this means anything in particular unless the cat shows signs of discomfort if they lay in a different way. If you think this is the case then again, you need to take your cat to see a vet.
