cat scared of me

i punished my kitty by hitting it and now he hates me what do i do to make him like me again?

As for how to make your cat like you again you will need to build the cats confidence in you again by bonding with them. I have also written a page about this too here https://www.our-happy-cat.com/new-cat.html follow these steps, take it slowly and don't expect changes too quickly. the cat has to learn to trust you again
