I keep flea medicine on my animals, but my cat scratches till he make big sores, what causes this( he is an inside cat)?

Hi cat allergies are not uncommon, what I mean is that your cat may be allergic to something which is causing him to itch madly until he is sore.

Please see this page for more information on this

For a complete diagnosis a vet would have to do some tests.

We have a cat that did the same thing no matter what we did. We don't have fleas either & the vet kept looking at us like we were crazy. So we took matters into our own hands. I kept trying different food untill finally we found one and he no longer itches, and all his fur is growing back. Give the food you try a bit a month or so. We switched to a more expensive food. But it equals out to about the same simply because the better the food the less they eat. It took us about a year to find the right food, dont get discouraged. GOOD LUCK
