Cat see a ghost?

My almost 2 year old cat has always been very outgoing and mellow. The other morning he violently ran through the house and under the bed. Feel like he may have hit his head. Took him to the vet and they said there were no signs of head trauma. He's acting like he sees things, a bit disoriented and spooked. Blood work is still out. He seems to be coming around a bit more, but still crouches to the ground and acts like he sees and hears something that's not there.

umm does sound a little odd but then i have seen cats act oddly like this before after a shock.

Hopefully the blood work will come back Ok and this is just a temporary scare.
