Cat sleeping to much

I am trying to figure the change in my cats behaviour. 1..she's sleeping alot more than usual..2..she tends to go straight under my bed every chance she gets...3..she doesn't seem to be eating as much as usual...she is only a year old.

Hi well all these symptoms are pretty general and so it is impossible to say what the possible cause could be.

However as a rule of thumb i always tell cat owners that when they notice any significant change in a cats behavior which lasts for more than a week that it should be checked out by a vet. Often the only way we can tell that something could be wrong is by a change in behavior as cats are very good at covering up discomfort or illness.

Hopefully it is only a little bug that will pass in a day or two but if this behavior continues and the amount of food she is eats remains small then I would definitely say a trip to the vets would be in order.
