cat strangely just gone dont know whats happend

okay here is my question we have an 10 month old male kitten he is an outdoor cat mainly but sleeps inside at night is inside sometimes and always comes back for meals well two days ago my dad gave him his breakfast as usual and we let him out like we usually do and he has just dissapeared we don't live by anywhere near any busy roads and he is used to being outdoor he loves the outdoors my worry is is there is another much older male cat in the area and sometimes when he was younger he used to get into fights with it but he would try and run away he has never donr this before he is always back at the same time i was mainly wondering though is it likely that he could be after a female or something he isn't neutered we have been planning for a while on getting hi neutered and so i was thinking maybe he could have wandered off i just hope he inst dead i need a bit of help here thanks im devastated.

well at 10 months old he is most likely be out there looking for female cats.

It would not be unusual for him to be gone quite some time, days, weeks even.

All you can really do is to keep calling him and leaving food for him. You could also put some notices around the area in case someone else has seen him. See this page for more info on this

When he does come home I would strongly suggest that you have him neutered as soon as possible to stop this disappearing act :)
