Cat suddenly pees on the couch

So a day ago my male cat seems to be acting oddly. Very lethargic and doesn't want to eat. He always eats. He eats his food and then the other cats food. That is how I know he isn't feeling well. I place a towel under him where he is on the couch to maek him feel more comfy and wehn I woke up in the am. He still hadn't moved and the towel was drenched. I cleaned up and placed a new towel down and he peed on that too. Why would he suddenly be doing this? I saw him do number 2 in the litterbox. He also seems tobe acting somewhat better today. Any ideas or suggestions?

I wonder if he may have a UTI, this can make cats urinate involuntarily sometimes. it would also account for their lethargic behavior.

If the symptoms persist or return, than a trip to the vets would be your best option.
