Cat throwing up out of the blue

i have had my cat for 3 yrs and she has never threw up before and tonight she starts gagging then up chucked.she has been off by herself a lot.my new cat was checked by the vet and was cleared for good health before i introduced them to each other. could it be serious or is she still reeling from the new cat.

well cat vomiting can be a sign of amny illnesses from hairballs to other more serious illnesses. if the vomiting continues then I would definitely say that she needs to be checked by a vet.
