cat with croaky voice

Hello, i have a male cat and lately his meow sounds like hes forcing it out. he is always sleeping near the heaters or on the computer monitor when it gets warm. Is my cat sick or is this normal please help.

well It is of course possible that he has some sort of virus and he has a sore throat. My own cat gets this sometimes.

the best thing to do is to keep an eye on him and see if it gets better over the next few days. If it persists then a trip to the vets might be the best option.

Hopefully it is only a slight cold.
