Cat with crusty eyes
by Sonya
(Redding)
My cat has crusty areas around his mouth and his eyes get crusty in the mornings. I have changed his food to all natural with no additives, made sure he has running water to drink. I thought it would be an allergy maybe to food but I still haven't seen any change. He also has an irritable attitude.

Your cat may be irritable because he doesn't feel very well.
You did not mention how long this has been going on for, if it is recent then he may be suffering from a cold. But if it is long term then he really does need to see a vet to get this properly diagnosed. Poor guy might be feeling rotten.
See my web page about eye issues here for more information but the problem may as you say be related to an allergy, which the vet should be able to help with.
here is my page about eye problems and also my page about allergies
