cat wont eat much and drinks more water

my cat wont eat hardly anything (he used to eat anything before)n, his black coat is turning brown and he drinks a lot of water (which he hated before) and stays away from his milk (which he loved before) he has also become very clingy, Thank you for any help :D

there may be a simple explanation for this behavior. If the weather is very hot then it is is not unusual for black fur to turn slightly brown in the sun. Also a cats appetite will shrink in hot weather and the desire to drink more water would increase.

However if he continues not to eat much and if you suspect that he is not well then you will have to take him to see a vet to have him checked over.

At this stage though the symptoms you have described do not suggest to me any particular ill health but do keep a close eye on him over the coming days.
