Cat won't eat

Hi I am 11 years old i have a year old cat and he won't eat. All he has done for a couple of days is drink alot of water. i know this might sound like a bad owner but i have been putting off his shots. we live around alot of ticks even though i dont see he gets bitten alot that might have something to do with it.He is usually an out going cat but he has become quiet and shy.A lot of times it looks like he is dehydrated, or he has a loss of strength, sometimes he cant really hold his eyes open. i dont know what to do ,PLEASE HELP

The symptoms you describe could be caused by so many different things that it is impossible to give a diagnosis.
All you can really do for your cat is to take him to the vets as soon as possible. the quicker a proper examination can be done and the problem diagnosed the better and easier he will be to treat.
