cats colouring has faded

I thought seal point cats get darker with age my 12 year old female

Seal points brown color (face and back) has faded significantly
In the past 2 years any reason for this ? Thanks Dave

Hi Dave

Generally as cats get older their coat can get a little dull and this can make the colour appear faded. i don't know specifically regarding seal points but I would have thought that they would have the same age related coat issues.

Perhaps someone else who has more experience with seal points will be able to comment here for you.
