Cats in heat???

Is there away that you can stop a cat from being in heat? Besides being spayed...... Remedies???? And also how long do the go threw the stage?

Hi]well once a female cat is old enough to into heat she will go into heat every three weeks for about nine months of the year. Please see this page for more details on this

As far as I'm aware the only way to stop this is for her to be spayed. It is the quickest and easiest option. there may be something that the vet can give her but i have not heard of anything being widely used as it is generally not something recommended.
