concerened about my cat's health

I've had my cat for almost 20 years now and he has recently been acting strange. He randomly starts crying, loudly and doesnt stop for a while. He has lost a lot of weight and throws up at least 2 times a day. He barely eats and literally sleeps all day. I'm concerned that he is nearing his end and if he is in pain. I dont know what to do..can anyone help? please. thank you

Dana you need to take your cat to see a vet. That is the simple answer i'm afraid. yes it may be his time as he is rather old however there are also medical, treatable conditions that would also cause these symptoms and the longer you delay the less likely they will be able to do anything for your cat.

i know and understand how distressing this may be, i have been there too, but it is important for both of your sakes that you have a proper diagnosis, you need to know that you did everything for your cat.

Hopefully it is something that can be easily treated.
