deworming stray cat

I took in a stray female cat...had her neutered and all... my problem is I have two dogs and a male cat as well, and I need/want her to take her worm medicine before i intergrade her with the other animals. She wont let me near her to put in down her thoart and wont take it when i put it in her food! Please any suggestions short of taking her to the Vet would be much appreciated!!!

Try crushing it into a powder and then mixing it in with a little of her food. give her this small amount of food first so that you know she has taken all the pill and then give her some more food to wash it down.

Worming medicine does come in other forms other than tablets but you may have to get these from your vets.
