Does my cat have rabies?!

My cat got sick 2 days ago. She is about 4 years old.. Last night she started slobbering and her upper lip was twitching. This morning she is growling and hissing everytime she sees or hears someone and still yet she is slobbering and twitching. What is wrong??

I am not a expert on rabies as I live in the UK and we do not have rabies here.

What i would say to you is whenever your cat displays unusual behaviors or symptoms it is important that you take them to see a vet. Because a cat can't speak we often only know a cat is ill when their behavior changes dramatically and is accompanied with other symptoms.

I do hope it is noting serious.
