Does my cat just have a cold or what?
by Kaci Sulzberger
Over the summer my cat sugar who is 10 years old had tapeworm, we gave her the pills to fix it. Ever since then she has been eating everything from our food to the dogs but hasnt really touched her dry food. Lately this past week she has become lethargic and is walking a little strange. As if something is stuck in her behind with her tail pointed down. She has always thrown up since the tapeworm a little here and there. but this week it has been more than usual. I have no idea what it is. And finances right now are not too great we cannot afford a trip to the vet. Please help in any way you can and if you have any advice let me know.

Hi
well there is no way of knowing if the medication you gave her got rid of the tapeworm or not. However from her sysmptoms I would say not.
I don't know what medication you gave her but really you should contact yur vets to see if they can sell you some tapeworm medication without having to see your cat. that way you will at least know that she is more likley to get rid of this nasty thing from inside her.
Apart froma trip to the vets thats all you can really do i'm afraid.
Hope she is better soon
best wishes kate
