Freddie the cat
My cat is now almost a year old but he didn't have a great start in life.
He was found as a kitten tied up in a carrier bag with nails in, he was found by some friends of mine.
He was placed on a rubbish pile it was lucky he was found in time before the bin men arrived.
My partner and I decided to take him in as was ever so tiny, you could feel his little spine, he was full of fleas and had worms, we had to bath him as he smelt awful.
We took him to a vet to check him over and no microchip, he was about nine to ten weeks old at the time.
We had to build him back up slowly so he could build his strength back up.
We had to wait fourteen days before we could officially adopt him but I wouldn't have handed him back if anyone came to claim him so they could dump him again no way.
He settled quite well like he had always been with us, he is now my emotional support animal as I suffer with anxiety and depression along with P.O.T.S, he can be naughty at times but he is full of love and affection, we both help each other, I couldn't be without him now.
