Freddie's second chance

My cat Freddie didn't have a great start as a kitten, someone had very cruelly tied him up in a plastic bag with nails inside, he was then dumped on a rubbish pile, a friend took him in but her cats didn't get on with him so I had to buy emergency cat stuff to bring him to my house, he was so tiny and skinny you could feel his little spine.
We took him to a vet who said he was only about nine to ten weeks old, but we couldn't let him leave us as we had to wait so many days before we could officially adopt him, but I wouldn't have handed him back to whoever dumped him like that, cats protection helped me to get him neutured which helped a lot, he is now my emotional support animal as I suffer with anxiety and depression and he responds when I have bad days.
He is almost a year old now but I can't be without him now although he can be naughty at times but it has always felt like he was meant to be here.
