frisky cat

Starting about a week ago my cat would wake up and start purring for no reason and will lay on the floor rubbing against it and clawing the floor pulling herself around the room stretching and flipping why is she doing this?

My cat does this too, it is so funny to watch.

i think it is just contentment and happiness. they love a good stretch and purring is often associated with contentment and happy feelings. I wouldn't worry, it is just normal happy cat behavior as far as i'm concerned.
