Getting Cats in carriers

I have two cats that are very stubborn. I need to get them into the cat carrier to take them to the vet. They hate it and run away at the sight of it.

Hi i know this can be a problem for most cat owners and can end up being quite a struggle. The trick is to get the cats used to the carrier so that when you have to use it to go to the vets they are not frightened of it. See my page about travel cat training, it talks about leaving the carrier around all the time for the cats to use as a bed if they wishe etc. This was how we taught Litle Mo to go in the carrier witout a struggle.
