Has my cat had a stroke?

I think my cat may have had a stroke. He is around 11 years old. I rescued him last November. He was only 3 pounds but quickly gained .He has been doing very well up to about a month ago. He has lostsome weight. The vet put him on an antibiotic for a cold. But this morning he seems to be constipated. He keeps his head down and has passed a few bits of hard stool and seems to have diarreha.There is no blood,he is not vomiting and he is eating very small amounts. He is also on his medication for another seven days. He is such a sweet old boy that I can't bear the thought of him being ill and in pain. The vet is closed today and I just would like to know what I could do to make him POOH.
