Hi,
I wouldn't worry. Cats have there own way of sorting out issues with other cats. If your male is pestering your female cats she will decide how to react to him. She will either put him in his place with a few warning signals or she will just ignore the whole situation nd put up with it.

As for the harming of kittens by other cats. No generally kittens are safe around other cats. the only time there can be a problem is when after birth the mother cat goes into what is known as a false heat and gives off the scent of a cat in heat this in turn can turn male cats very, lets say interested in the females and will try to mate with her. As it is a false heat the mother cat will shun his advances, he unfortunately is wound up and may try to mate with the kittens. this is impossible of course and sometimes in the attempt the kittens may get squashed or strangled with the grip of the male cat. This is rare though.

if you are at all worried, keep the other cats away from the new born for the first few days to let the mother cat bond properly with them and then slowly introduce the other cats to the new family.

best wishes Kate
