Help! My cat has diarrhea for 5days now!

I have an indoor cat..He is almost 5months old..5days ago he started to have a diarrhea..I thought the reason was he accidentally ate fish bone.. i went to my vet on the third day of his diarrhea and he gave me an antibiotic 200mg tablet to be taken daily. The following night my cat vomits 5mns after I gave him the pill. I saw something's moving in his vomit,i know it was a worm. When I got back to clean it up the movement was gone I tried to look for the worm but there's nothing,is it possible that it dies just like that? I went back to my vet and he gave me a deworming pill,its just that he did not explain to me if there's a side effect if my cat doesn't really have a worm.. Is it bad to deworm a cat without worms? Please help me,I don't know if I will continue giving him the antibiotic or should i give him tonight the deworming pill? My cat slightly eats and drink now..I even give him gatorade. His nose is really dry. His stool was darker and slightly watery now. Please I need your help as soon as possible.. Thanks! God Bless!

It is Ok to give the one deworming pill even if your cat does not have worms, it will be ok. Anyway it does sound as if your cat may have them anyway.

dehydration can be a problem for cats with diarrhea so make sure he gets plenty to drink.
