help please - My cat is skin and bones

i have a 11 month old hymalian cat. i recently went out of town for about two weeks and my neighbors took care of her and my other cat. the told me she had been peeing on rugs in my house. i figured she was upset. when i picked her up she was all hair and bones. i can feel every bone in her body. i called the vet and they said wait til tomorrow. please help

yes waiting for a day will be fine but i would definably check with your neighbors to make sure they saw her eating while you were away.

She either has not been eating or she has an illness which causes wight loss, thyroid problems can do this

Don t worry, take her to the vets as soon as you can and take it from there. Sometimes stress can cause weight loss too and if your cat was anxious while you were away ( the urination may be a indication of this) then lets hope thats all it is and that the vet will give her a clean bill of health.
