how can u tell if your cat is dieing?

I have 2 cats one is almost 15 years old I had him since he have been 3 months old and the other is Ashley she will be 14 years old got her when she has been 6 months old. The boy cat Alex is his name off and on been getting a little bit more and more sick he has been losing weight he eats fine and drinking good to he runs around all the time but some days he just sit in a room and just look at me or just look like he is in space. And has for Ashley she don't really run that much shes lose weight to she eats and drinks too and she also gets sick to. Alex some times pasts out I pick him up and pat him on the back and hes fine this goes on and off to.

well i would say that it is impossible to tell by just looking at your cats to say whether or mot they are dying.

As cats get older they do slow down and may also loose a bit of weight. however there are also treatable medical conditions which can cause this too. Also due to the fact that your cats are also showing other ill health symptoms, if I were you i would take them both to the vets for a check up. Although they are old they are by no means very old and could have many more happy years ahead of them if they are treated for any ailments they may have now.
