I have a stripe face kitten who cries at night

Howl is the name of my striped faced kitten. My question is, my kitten is meowing very loud. at night especially, running wild moaning sometimes. it seems....

Hi
Night time is the normal time for cats to be most active as in the wild this is when they would do most of their hunting. Instinct is strong and this is why some owners see this behavior. Also i don't know how old your cat is but if they are more than 4 months old and have not yet been neutered then this is also another reason for the calling, again night time is the normal time for this caterwauling.


You need to make sure your cat is neutered and also you will need to set up a nightly routine for your cat. Play a runaround game with them about half an hour before you go to bed. then feed them a meal. These two activities will help to settle them down for the night.

Also keep them in a room over night with their litter fresh water a little food and lots of toys etc to keep them occupied if they do wake up.

Over time and as the kitten gets older they will learn to be less active at night and fit in with your own sleeping patterns.
