Introducing Kitten To Cat

I hav a 1year old male, he is not done yet but will be soon enough but we have just been given a 10week old kitten black female and she is very timid she growls and hisses at him but he keeps trying to mate with her but only at night times I cant split them up as he is use to sleeping with us and my dogs and she crys when left on her own what can i do to make him stop doing this but still play and cuddle with her?

the quick answer is you can't,. he will instinctively keep trying to mate with her until he is neutered.

My advice would be to have him neutered now and then to spend a time introducing the two cats to each other to help them get used to each other without the fear of attack etc. the method described on this page is very useful for this, yes it does take some time and effort but does help the cats enormously.
