well it could be an indication of either severe diarrhea or a internal infection.

Kittens can be very susceptible to illness and infection and because their immune system is not up to full strength yet need special care and attention. If it were me i would telephone my vet for some advice, he may want to see the kitten or he may be able to advise you further until after the Christmas period.

If it is a upset tummy then a plain simple diet for a few days is often the best way forward

Worms could also be the cause of an infection so it is important that you worm your kitten too.
