Is my cat in heat?

my cat is supposedly in heat but is meowin very loud non stop for about 2 days and is spreading her legs and wriggling her butt. i think she is in pain but im not really sure. she bounces from one foot to another with her but up and crying. when we went to the vet she stopped so they didnt see anything. do u know what the cause is?

well if you have never seen a cat in heat before it can be quite surprising at the antics they gets up. Excessive meowing is normal, being over affectionate is another, wriggling her behind is another sign, all very normal.
