Is My Kitten in Jeopardy of Being Really Ill?

by Holly

Hi, my Kitten is about 8 months old, and has not had any of his jabs as far as i know!

He goes outside a lot but as far as i know there are no other cats anywhere near where we live. He runs about in the orchard behind where i live.
Also lately he salivates a lot, and it smells unbearable!
He also has a small bald patch on one of his legs.
I feel like an awful carer because of the injections and I am really worried about him.
I have little money, but i have asked my dad to help me take him to the vets ASAP.
Im really worried! please help and tell me what to do!
Holly. xx

Yes all you can really do is to get him to see a vet as soon as you possibly can.

He may have a parasite problem which is causing the fur loss. He may have a ulcer and or an infection in his mouth causing the terrible smell and you do want to make sure that he protected from disease and illness which young cats can be particularly susceptible too. the last thing you need to happen is for him to get sick and then you are landed which a even bigger vet bill etc.
