Is my kitten ok??

Hi,

my female 6 month old kitten has over the last few days started making lots of noise! She makes a noise almost like whinning and she keeps walking really low to the ground and raising her bum in the air! She seems happy, playful, eating and drinking the same and purrs alot, which iv always taken as her being happy! Any help or advice will be greatly received.

well it sound's like your cat is in heat, so I am assuming she is not spayed yet.

if she is not spayed then her behavior is completely normal for a cat in heat. i have a page about cats in heat which will provide you with some information here

If she has been spayed then her behavior is rather strange and you would be best to take her to see a vet to see if she is any pain of discomfort.
