kitten heavy panting and unable to stand after play

our kitten is 1 in june his always been a very active kitten and always likes to play, since we have let him outside is isnt so interested in the play but tonight he was and after a few minutes of playing with him he started to pant really heavey so we stopped the play, he layed down and when he went to get back up he couldnt stand properly and had to lay back down. is there something wrong with him?

Yes you need to take him to see a vet. Your kitten may have a problem with his heart which can cause this sort of reaction after play. However if this is the case there are things they can do for him so don't worry.

It is best to have him checked anyway as kittens can pick up all sorts of viruses etc and the sooner these things are caught the better. At the very least you will have peace of mind.
