Kitten pooping everywhere

Hi, I adopted two cats from a local animal shelter. One is a male neutered one year old Tabby. The other is a 6-7 month old black and white short haired spayed female. They are strictly indoor cats. They initially had ring worm, but that was treated and seems to be gone. Both seem happy and well adjusted. However, the 7 month year old has been leaving little tiny droppings everywhere (i.e., beds, chairs, tables and carpets). Not full blown stools, mind you. Tiny droppings which seem to be loose. Also, rub marks on carpet, as well. I have seen her walking on her butt like dogs door. HELP!!!

Hi
As she is a spayed female we can't put this behavior down to being on heat, so it sounds to me like she has some other problem in her rear end. It could be worms

Or blocked anal glands or simply a upset tummy

It is difficult to say and would probably benefit from an examination from the vet I think.
the only other option is that it is behavioral and a thing called Middening but i don't think that is the case as her behavior suggests that something is causing her some discomfort.
Hope she is better soon.
best wishes Kate
