kitty problems

my cat is 15 years old and every time i pick her she cries, which she has never done before. she loves being held. also, just today i noticed that her left hind leg was dragging behind a little bit, her eyes are heavy and her breathing sounds weird i was wondering what you might think this could be.

Hi i really would not like to say. I am not a vet and so I would not like to say what I think as it may be totally wrong and I don't want to possibly upset anyone. She is obviously experiencing some pain, lets hope it is just a sprain. However please take her to the vets as soon as possible. I'm sure you are anyway.

She is a beautiful cat.
