hi,

friday nite we found a small kitten in the rain . she may be possible 2 months old at the most. her eyes were runny and swollen a little .she was sneezing some and having labored breathing. we treated her eyes with some ointment we had for a bacterial infection on one of our other cats. that helped . her eyes look great now , the sneezing has practically stopped ,she eats and drinks very good and also uses the bathroom good. her breathing is better, the only problem i'm seeing is that when i listen to her with my stethoscope i hear moaning like or whistling sounds in her chest or lungs. it worrys me . i hope you may can give me an idea if i should be worrying due to the fact she is now playing eatting well and her fur is thick and soft.
thanks,

Hi It sounds like your kitten may have had cat flu and that she may still have an infection on her chest. At her age it is very important they they recieve antibiotics from the vet as soon as possible for any infections as they can go down hill very quickly and all of a sudden. So even though she may have picked up sice you first saw her it is still very important that she see a vet as soon as possible.

best wishes kate
