litter box problems

Hi.. I have 2 kittens that r 7 months old one uses the litter box and the other one doesnt. we also have a cat thats 3 and 5 yrs old as well and we have 2 litterboxes..

Hi, so if I have understood correctly, you have two litter boxes but four cats. this may be the problem, as generally cats do not like to share litter boxes due to the scent of other cats marking their territory.

You have not said whether or not if all the cats are neutered or not. if not then this will also be a cause for the kitten not to want to use another cats litter box. At 7 months old he is moving into adult hood and if not neutered will be starting to feel the need to become territorial etc.
