My little girl Lucy is a not so feral cat in my colony. She greets daddy every morning for her breakfast and every afternoon for her kitty dinner. She loves to be petted and every time she hears my voice she comes running. I have been taking care of her for almost four years know. (since she was a tiny kitten) At one time we attempted to socialize her as an indoor kitty but she was very unhappy and cried all day and all night. We returned her to her family and she is the happiest little girl. Two sundays ago my little girl never showed up for dinner. Over the next nearly two weeks I looked all over for her but could not find her. She is such a little homebody and never leaves the property. All kinds of horrible fates were racing thru my mind. I had almost given up hope when two days ago immediately after I came back from the bank my little daughter was standing at the front door to my office. She must have escaped from where she had been trapped and followed her Daddy's truck home. She is very thin and very tired but she is SOOO happy to be home. I am so greatful to have my Lucy home!!!
