lumps on belly
My cat is about 19mths old and I had him neutered. He eats and drinks and uses his litter box, but I have noticed is belly seems bigger and when he is standing I can feel one lump on each side of his belly by the groin area. when he lays flat you can barely feel them. should I take him to the vet. I haven't the money for this!

Sadly I am not a vet and so cannot give you a medical diagnosis.
However I can answer as a cat owner. If it were me then if I can noticed these changes then I would definitely take him to the vet for a check up. It is better to be safe than sorry and if there is a problem the sooner it can be treated the better.
As for money, well unfortunately as pet owner this comes with the territory, I too can;t really afford to take my cat to the vet but i do.
Even if you can afford the initial vet trip which is usually not a huge amount then at least you can asses the situation afterwards depending on the result. if further treatment is needed then the vet may be able to advise you with some help with the costs etc (animal charities etc)
I really hope there is nothing seriously wrong.
best wishes kate
