my 4 year old cat fur is fading

my cats is 4 and her fur is fading is it bad or is just cuz she getting old

if you mean the color is becoming a little duller then yes age can make a cats fur become less vibrant. however it is important that he is getting good nutrition to help his coat stay in good condition. At 4 years old he is still quite young and a dull coat could be a sign of ill health or poor nutrition.

if your cat has not been to the vets for awhile I would recommend a checkup to make sure there is no underlying illness which could be causing a problem.

Some cats foods are better than others and the cheaper ones on the market can be poor in nutrition and cause some cats to become ill. i have some pages which you may find of further interest here
