my cat eats fabric!

How do you discipline a cat and/or keep it from chewing on fabric? My parents cat chews pillows, ottoman corners, etc. HELP

Sounds to me like your cat may suffer from something called PICA. It is a very strange behavior where animals eat non food items. It is quite rare and unfortunately there is no cure. All you can do is to protect things like cables and to spray fabrics with a strong lemon scent which often deters them from the area.

You cannot discipline a cat to stop this behavior they will not understand at all.
