I really don`t know what is wrong with my cat. A couple of days ago she was just fine and today we just found out she has some sort of bump on her rear, near her anus. She doesn`t like it being touched and seems a bit out of it, just laying around and staying in on room. She`s about 12 years old but she is a very clean cat. We didn`t really get a good look at it because she didn`t want it to be touched or picked up. Right now she is laying down and looks like she is resting but she can't get comfortable and we won't be able to take her to the vet until friday. Is there anything I can do?

Hi
Poor cat, she must be feeling down.
It's a shame you cant get her to see the vet before Friday as she is obviously in some discomfort.
In the mean time there is not much you can do other than to allow her to lie quietly and still for as song as se needs too. Make sure her water and litter and close by for easy access.
You cannot give her any pain meds as this could be dangerous for her.
All you can really do is keep her as comfortable as possible and reassure her.
As it has come up so quickly it may be a abscess which can be rather painful. If this is the case it may even burst by itself soon. However a vet will still need to take a look even if it does.
I hope she is better soon
