my cat is in heat

my cat has been leaving wet spots on my bed that smell distantly like pee but it is clearly not urine. she is in heat is this a result of her being in heat
Answer by Kate
Hi
yes I would say that it could have something to do with her being in heat. After all scent plays a big part of cat mating, so she could be excreting a smelly liquid to attract males.
I have never had a female cat in heat so perhaps someone else will be able to comment further.
best wishes Kate
