my cat is loosing hair around her eyes and has huge bump on her chest. but she is not vomiting and she has also just been lying down a lot.She is not old either. so i was wondering what the bump is and the hair loss and if this is lethal. sincerely, Fletcher

well the two may or may not be connected, it is difficult to say.

Most hair loss is caused by either an allergy to something or parasites of some kind.


the lump could be anything from a bite to a cyst.

To be honest with you i think your best option is to take her to see a vet sooner rather than later to have these two things looked at and properly diagnosed so that the correct treatment can be started. without knowing fro sure what is causing these two things it is impossible to say how they will effect your cat long term.
